On 22 June 2020, the Regulation (EU) 2020/852 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 June 2020 on the establishment of a framework to facilitate sustainable investment, and amending Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 was published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
This EU Regulation is also known as the taxonomy regulation and is a cornerstone in the realisation of the European Commission's action plan on financing sustainable growth as well as in the development of the EU's legal and regulatory framework related to ESG factors.
